Power Strips

If you follow me on Facebook you’ll have heard/seen me going on about how much I love this product called The Power Strips ™ .  I know some people are getting annoyed by my “going on” about it but, hey, that’s just going to be too bad…I love them and this blog is my Numanums–things I do and things I love so here you go!

Power Strips

I call these babies my little miracles because, to me, that’s what they are.  I started using them about a year ago when I was desperate for something to help.  I was exhausted all of the time and feeling a bit blah (due to the exhaustion).  I was eating healthy and exercising regularly but just didn’t have any oomph.  Around the same time my friend Amie became a distributor of the Power Strip ™ and after hearing more I thought it couldn’t hurt to try.  I was definitely skeptical but for a small $60.00 investment–if they didn’t work it wasn’t the end of the world.

Anyway, I tried them for a month and I was hooked.  By the second day I could tell my sleep was much more complete which led to more energy during the day.  That was awesome!  By the end of the month, patches of psoriasis that I’ve had nearly my entire life (well, at least since I was a teenager) were gone.  (By the way, I tried every prescription out there to get rid of it and never, in about 25 years, did it ever go away until now.)  I was hooked.  I had energy, yaayayayay!!!!  I felt good, yayayayayay!!  My skin never looked better, yayayayay!!!  To me, this was so worth $60 per month.

Fast forward to now…I use them for everything.  I wear one regularly and then use “extra” when needed for things like headaches and sore muscles (I’m doing a lot of running these days).  My family members use them–tennis elbow, pain relief (instead of mainstream OTC drugs like Tylenol and Advil), skin issues like eczema and more.  We have all had great results as have thousands of others around the world!!!

Here are the details…

The PowerStrips are all natural/drug free/chemical free/holistic and at the same time are listed by the FDA as a Class 1 Medical Device for pain AND an OTC all natural drug. There is a cumulative effect that goes on when one wears the strips faithfully to give the body and the ingredients realistic time to absorb and work together to do what they were designed to do- pain relief, amazing health and wellness benefits from the all natural ingredients that come with using the strips, as well as healing of the tissues/muscles/cells at the cellular level. The 7 all-natural, drug free, chemical free, toxin free and holistic ingredients in the PowerStrips are:

  • Korean Red Ginseng (fermented, very different from regular ginseng)
  • Marine Phytoplankton
  • Silver Ions
  • Organic Germanium
  • Potassium
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
The PowerStrips are a topical (meaning they are absorbed by the body and therefore bypass the digestive system where most pills and powders etc are destroyed by the digestive system, especially in those with chronic pain as their system is already compromised) 5×3 strip with a water-soluble adhesive. They are so easy to use and can be cut into any size to customize any needs- just peel and place anywhere on your body where you feel pain or discomfort and/or want health and wellness benefits.

I think when people hear the words “all natural” they automatically think it’s some fa la la product that fairies produced out of the sky…these are far from that.  There is a huge amount of science involved in producing the strips (I’m talking Quantum Physics people!!) and all of the ingredients, while natural, are SO GOOD for you!!!  I’ll also mention it again–they have 2 classifications from the FDA so they are FAR from fairy dust.

If you want to find out more about these, please comment below or email me–I’m happy to answer any questions you have!  If you’d like to order, click on the big X you see on the right side bar of the blog, click JOIN** and walk through the steps.  (**When you JOIN vs. BUY you get member pricing and extra strips.  There is absolutely no obligation to buy more, sell them, etc.)  They ship anywhere in the world so go for it!!

March is Danielle’s Lemon-aide restaurant month!

ALSFsquare

Today starts restaurant month!  We are so excited and grateful to have the support of the Cayman Islands community for Danielle’s Lemon-aide, I can’t even begin to explain how much this means!!  We have approached some of our favorite restaurants and asked them to participate or donate to help with our Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation campaign and we have been overwhelmed with the positive response!

During restaurant month, when you dine at the following restaurants, if you order their selected dish, $1 will be donated to the Danielle’s Lemon-aide campaign.  How awesome is that!?  (I actually think the calories on that meal don’t count since you will be making a contribution to something good….think about it)

Here are the participating restaurants and their selected dishes:

Agua….Risotto Porcini

Edoardos….Snapper Angelo

Market Group…this group of restaurants is donating 10% for every kids meal sold at each establishment!  They include Duke’s Seafood and Rib Shack, The Waterfront Urban Diner, Mizu Asian Bistro & Bar, Fidel Murphy’s Public House, and Craft Food & Beverage Company.

Pappagallos….Lobster Buba and a specially made dessert called Alex’s Lemon/Key Lime Pie

TUKKA…Tukka Brochette

Some restaurants elected to make a donation in lieu of selecting a dish and for this we are extremely grateful!  These restaurants are Casanovas, Ragazzi and LUCA.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now when you’re finished eating all of this scrumptious food, head on over to Life Extension Sports and Fitness!  This boutique style, 24/7 gym will help you burn it all off so you can come back for more!  Jen, David and the team at Life Extension have pledged $1 for every new client who signs up for a group class package or a gym membership during the month of March.   How fantastic is that??!!!!

I’ve joined Team Lemon and need your help!

So I just pressed “go” on one of the biggest things I’ve ever committed to in my life.  I’m nervous, very scared but mostly hopeful that I will be able to make a difference in the coming year.   Just a couple of months ago I learned about Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.  These folks raise money […]

The Lemon Run

On November 10th James and I are running/walking 5K to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.  This Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all […]
